Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Operating our proprietary internet-based performance reporting application
  • Completing a variety of daily operational tasks
  • Research analysis for our clients
  • Effectively communicating between several departments within Black Diamond

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree) from an accredited institution
  • Finance/Accounting interest preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and organizational skills


Vice President of Sales - West

Position

We are seeking an experienced technology sales professional to join our growing sales organization. The primary responsibility is business development in the rapidly growing RIA market. The ideal candidate will be of the highest ethical standard with a passion to help firms become more efficient, scalable and profitable. The sales associate will need to be self-motivated with a focused enthusiasm for generating new business partnerships. We empower our people to make decisions and seek a documented track record of success in technology sales and credibility within the financial services industry. The individual must be able to excel at managing & prioritizing multiple sales opportunities, while identifying clients that fit our partnership philosophy.

Responsibilities

  • Business development for Black Diamond’s turnkey outsourced performance reporting and portfolio management system
  • Achieve sales performance quotas
  • Build and maintain strategic business relationships with custodians and other strategic firms
  • Effectively conduct product demonstrations via WebEx or in person for larger opportunities
  • Ability to communicate with senior management, operations and technology associates within an advisory practice
  • Identify where the Black Diamond solution will add value vs. existing systems or competitive options
  • Implement and manage a territory plan for maximizing sales opportunities
  • Clear understanding of competitive products and buyer behaviors
  • Effective CRM usage to track data and interaction with prospective clients
  • Weekly communication and reporting to senior sales management
  • Make recommendations to improve the sales process and territory management
  • Quarterly travel to the Black Diamond corporate office in Jacksonville Florida is required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years selling technology solutions to Registered Investment Advisors or Wealth Management practices with territory management responsibilities
  • 3+ years experience selling portfolio management/performance reporting systems or consulting to firms on best-of-breed options
  • Existing relationships with custodian representatives is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Registered Investment Advisory/Wealth Management industry
  • Proven ability to develop new business to achieve sales targets
  • Proven ability to make effective individual and group consultative sales presentations
  • Demonstrated experience in solution selling
  • Proven ability to manage a large territory
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals at the executive level
  • Focused team player with an understanding of corporate objectives and a desire to excel with the company

Requirement

  • Approximately 25% travel is required. Ideal candidate will be based in San Francisco or the greater Los Angeles area. The position is suitable for working from home or an office suite environment.
